The perfect accessory can make the bear. Norma is known for her flower barrettes.

For her portrait I chose to use shades and tints of purple and gray. I used my palette knife to paint her beautiful fur.

My favorite part of the painting process is during the final moments when I add unique brush strokes or gently tweak the shapes. As I was finishing Norma's portrait I decided to change the shape of her nose. What shape do you see? I love it!
