I was thinking about Melanie when I was painting Charlotte.

Mel is my brother's girlfriend. She's known for her keen ability to find fantastic sales. She loves to dress up for any occasion. She's also known for her incredibly thoughtful gifts. I wanted to bring all of these fantastic shopper traits and fashion sense into my painting of Charlotte.

I loved painting Charlotte's red high heels and her off the shoulder peasant top with short bell sleeves. Her pleated mini skirt shows off her pretty bear legs, and her smile tells us she had a great shopping day! Thanks for inspiring me, Mel!
