Thank you for your interest in commissioning a custom portrait. I’ve answered some common questions below. If you have additional questions, please contact me. I look forward to working with you.

How do we get started?  I work from reference photos and from life. For those of you who live outside the Las Vegas area send me your photos via e-mail, and we’ll discuss all the details. When the details are decided upon, I will email you a commission agreement and collect the 50% deposit. When the portrait is completed, I will e-mail a photo for your approval. Once approved, the final payment is collected and your portrait is delivered. Shipping and handling fees and taxes (if applicable) will be added to the final payment. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.

How do I determine which photographs are best? Select your favorite and highest quality photos. Look for clear and sharp close up pictures. I need to see as much detail of the face as possible. If you plan to take the pictures, outside natural light is best but avoid direct sunlight. Indoor light is alright if you have your subject near a window. Avoid using a flash. If you are taking pictures of children or animals, get down on their level. Photos will be returned upon completion of your portrait.
